Team Training
One to two hour sessions over ten to twelve
weeks that prepare a team for their season. Sessions include
fitness improvement and technical and tactical drills that enable
players to better understand the game. A great opportunity to develop
team spirit as well.
Team Camps
Team camps are designed to take travel, select
and high school teams to a new level of technical skill and tactical
understanding. Some areas of focus are developing the team as a
unit, increasing fitness conditioning, improving foot skills, decision
making and positional tactics. These can either be held pre-season
in preparation for the regular season or mid-season during school breaks
when skills and fitness need to be maintained and developed. Camps
take place over one week and can last two to four hour each day.
Small Group
Training
In a group of 4 to 6 players, training consists
of concentrating on individual needs and focuses on refining skills such
as decision making, foot skills, shooting techniques and positional
tactics. One hour sessions over eight weeks is ideal for player's
development.
Individual
Instruction
Hour-long, intensive, one on one training over
a period of eight weeks will enhance the player's skills and knowledge
of the game. We work specifically on tactics related to the
player's position, improving ball-handling techniques and building
self-confidence. All together this creates more opportunities for
the player to reach his/her highest potential.
Speed, Endurance and
Agility (SEA) Training
In the modern game of soccer, endurance,
explosive pace and the ability to change direction quickly and
accelerate instantly are very important. The functional exercises
and drills developed within our training programs contribute to
gaining the edge in a game where not only stamina, but feet and inches
can make all the difference.
Specialty Clinics
These are specialized and intensive sessions to
help an individual player or group to improve in a particular area of
soccer. Player(s) will be assessed and exercises to assist in
their development will be designed and tailored to their needs.
Examples of specialty areas include shooting, dribbling or
trick-movements. Sessions last for 45 minutes over six weeks.
Recreation Programs
These programs provide a FUN way to learn the
basics of soccer through enjoyable activities. Activities are
non-competitive and focus on developing coordination, balance, movement
and ball handling. Small sided scrimmages will emphasize playing
as a team while putting skills into practice. Most important is the
atmosphere created that will help all children develop a love of soccer.
Recreational sessions are for children aged 7 and up, and are one hour
long for a period of six to eight weeks.
Kinder Soccer
The goal for Kinder Soccer is to introduce the
game to children of ages 3 to 6 in hour-long sessions that emphasize FUN
and development. Children learn and improve their coordination, balance
and ball touching techniques through game-oriented activities like "Crab
Soccer", "Cone Monster" and "Sleepy Giant". Most important is the
atmosphere created that will help all children develop a love of soccer.
Freestyle Soccer ***NEW***
Based on the US Youth Soccer philosophy of small-sided
scrimmages and their ability to improve play, Freestyle Soccer is a two
hour program for kids from 8 - 18 years of age, where they get the
opportunity to play, coach and referee their own small-sided soccer
games.
